Mission is to inspire, motivate, educate, and most importantly expand the psychological barriers of what people, particularly little children, believe they are capable of. Through our magazine, we provide positive role models for students to look up to, an education, and workforce development training.
The magazine uses stories, poems, and quotes from people that share the same social and economic backgrounds as the targeted audience, so the children can better relate to the individuals that they are reading about. Our magazine is provided to orphanages, schools, foundations, NGOs, and other organizations that are committed to the social good for free.
“Home Grown” section about people that are doing great things in their own communities; a section demonstrating talent among the youth through submission of uplifting poetry or short stories; and many more attractions.
We have developed educational content and need support in printing 36,000 copies of the books to be distributed to all students in Ghana. VisualAid is in need of GHC80,000 cedis equivalent to $17,000 to fund this magazine initiative for 1 year.
Companies, Organizations, and/or Persons who can also print magazines for us will also be appreciated. For more details, visit http://www.visualaidmagazine.org/visualaid-ghana.html.

READING IS IN SESSION
WORDS LINK THE WORLD
In 2013, a magazine was printed out of an idea to inspire, motivate, and expand the horizons of underprivileged children in Ghana. This magazine wasn’t simply given away but read aloud to these kids. More stories were written about inspirational figures, and other students got involved to help distribute the magazine.
These children loved it! And as we say – “the rest is history.”
